Small Change, Big Difference

A small change may indeed lead to a big difference. Joyful smiles and vigorous greetings do help me get out from the shadow of being isolated by my classmates. At the initial stage of my high school life, because of my unfriendly looking and introverted personality, most of my classmates didn¡¦t seem to like me. Under such circumstances, I had no choice but to ask for help. As my bosom friend and mental teacher, Jasmine, who moved to Canada at the age of fifteen, analyzed the possibilities why I couldn¡¦t make any friend in a new environment to me. She told me that she dared not to talk to me at first, either. But several days after , she had seen my big smile to my parents . No sooner had she seen that than she thought that maybe I have a passionate nature and that maybe I am just not good at making new friends . So, she plucked up her courage to speak to me the next day, and she found that I am a girl easy to keep friends with. She suggested me that I should try wearing a smile more often and take the initiative in making acquaintances. At the end of our conversation, she told me that no obstacle is insurmountale and that just take others¡¦insults in stride.

After speaking to her , I told myself that nothing can beat me , and I had made up my mind to wear a big smile when I walk into my school . What¡¦s more, I would try to chat with my classmates sitting beside me. To my surprise , as I smiled at my teachers , my classmates and even strangers , they all smiled at me , too . All of a sudden, I felt a shiever of fulfillment ran through my body. Not until then did I realize that it¡¦s not so difficult to make friends, just wear a smile and your enemy may truly become your new friend.

A smile changed my school life. Hence , I¡¦m sure that when I am in trouble again , I¡¦ll think carefully first and find out the reason . Only by this way can I overcome my problem. Last but not least , I will remember that a small change can make big difference for good¡I
