Recently, with industries booming, life of human beings has become increasingly convenient; at the same time, the development has also brought about drastic changes in climate. Catastrophes often grab the headlines, and the casualties reported are indeed terrifying.

Global warming, resulting from the increase on the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, is to blame for mast calamities’ occurring. For example, the overall rainfall in the western coast of Southern America, in contrast to the slump in Indonesia, is attributed to the peculiar changes in global climate. Not only will such phenomena cause great inconvenience to local residents, but it will disrupt local eco-system and the balanced food chain, contributing to havocs to all creatures.

Scientists have come up with several ideas to cut down on the carbon emission. Hybrid cars, a kind of concept cars released in 2006, are now practically applied to our life. With fuels generated from gasoline along with electricity, the cars bring both economical and environmental benefits. In addition, the” green roof “has been gradually adopted by enterprises to their buildings, with plants growing on the roof to effectively insulate buildings from the heat outside. As they acquire higher revenues, the incorporations are improving their enterprise images.

There’s no arguing that the climate worldwide is altering, and formidable Mother Nature is admonishing us in her anger; however, some measures are still available to be taken to stop the situations from worsening. And, for the sustainability of mankind, we should learn to hold Mother Nature in awe and live in harmony with the environment.
