With humans¡¦ advancement, our life standard is increasing gradually. What we could hardly imagine in the past, such as high-tech, products, sound transportation systems and miscellaneous recreational activities, has been prosperous in the reality. However, humans seem to take too much from our mother nature. As a result, it is time, we struck a balance between environmental protection and economic development.

First, we have to reuse as much as possible. Take me for example, I reuse water to irrigate my small garden. Second, economize on natural resources. After we finish using the appliances or lights, remember to turn them off right away. Never let them keep running so that such an act can not only reduce the unnecessary emission of carbon dioxide, but cut down on the expenses of our electricity bills. Third, do a good job of recycle because we won¡¦t waste the resources which can be given a new life. Three tips mentioned above are ¡§3R¡¨-reuse, reduce, and recycle which are for the purpose of going green.

On the other hand, the authorities concerned should have a tight rein on the industry, lest factories discharge pollution into the environment. Moreover, the governments should also regulate strict laws in order to prevent the abuse of logging and farming. In this way, the influences of global warming and abnormal natural disasters will decrease on a large scale.

Last but not least, it¡¦s everyone¡¦s duty to go green. Otherwise, some day, there will be no more wildlife refreshing air and beautiful scenery to feast our mind and body.
