Go green

While the global warming is going from bad to worse, human have started to take action to protect our mother Earth from being damaged. In accordance with some recent studies, the pollution that human beings have made in the last hundred years is making a disastrous impact to our environment drastically. As a consequence, we need to go green from now on.

In the first place, saving the uses of energy is second to none. The public should foster the habit of taking the public transportation. It could not only lower the cost of going from one place to another but also play an indispensable role in going green. We could also ride a bike instead of drive a car to work. It could really benefits the Earth and ourselves as it can save energy and exercise at the same time.

Take our school policy for instance. On the Earth Day every year, the school would ask all the students to turn off the light for one hour. Although its symbolic meaning is more than practical uses, this activity’s target is to teach the right concept of not wasting energy. Many students have changed their attitude about energy massively after the activity. Consequently, our school decides to hold the activity continuously for the purpose of changing the thought of the new generation and helping the Earth permanently.

To sum up, the environmental –friendly steps should be taken as soon as possible because we have only one Earth in the universe. If we keep doing damage to it, this beautiful world will end up with misery and the humanity will live in desperation. Hence, go green, and we could keep enjoying the beauty of this world.
